Italian teacher, conversation-based approach Hi! My name is Agnese, I'm 24 and I live in Rome. I love learning languages through language exchanges, that helped me improving in english, german and spanish. I taught on italki before, and volunteered as an italian teacher for foreigners who live in Italy. I'm about to graduate in sociology. I'm looking forward to talking to you (: I think having an active approach to the language is fundamental, and so are mistakes. Languages shouldn't be a chore, so I try to make even the most difficult themes approachable. I'm a curious person so I'm open to any suggestions and themes that might be brought up. I don't have a specific italian accent: people from other parts of Italy often can't tell where I am from. Depending on your goals we can focus more on grammar, speaking, listening, writing or reading. We can have a chat about a topic of your choice, if you have one in mind, during which I'll correct you. I can also help you understand italian grammar through exercises, or provide you with materials to improve your reading and listening.

Agnese is a patient teacher. She speaks mostly in Italian and only in English when absolutely necessary. She allows the student to speak Italian as much as possible (some teachers just use the lesson time to improve their English but not really teach the language for which the lesson was acquired).
