I have an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University College London (UCL) and an undergraduate degree in Business Communications. I am a native speaker of American English. Being native to the United States, and having lived in the United Kingdom for 9 years, I have a wide array of experiences with both English versions. I now live in Japan and enjoy exploring new cultures. I am a very patient and passionate teacher, who employs a relaxed teaching style that is aimed at improving your speaking, writing, and reading abilities and confidence. I teach Intermediate to Advanced Learners. My lessons are aimed at helping you achieve the goal of becoming fluent, reaching proficiency level, reducing spelling and grammatical errors, and improving your vocabulary via stimulating conversation and interesting topics. I am also able to aid you in preparing for the IELTS or Cambridge examinations.
