Chan

It was another fun and fruitful lesson. As my homework, I usually read an article and make my original sentences with some new words. Chan is always kind and helps me express what I want to say in Lao. I recommend her as your teacher with all my heart😌✨

How many rave reviews can I submit? It keeps getting better and better. The conversation flows now, and while I constantly fetch up on verbal sandbars, Chan is great about helping me get afloat again. Tonight I told her that I wanted to go beyond my initial goal of learning rudimentary Lao, and commit to a year’s worth of twice-weekly lessons with the goal of being able to read at the end. So, we’re off! I am excited; she tells me that one-year goal is readily achievable, and she’s so good that I believe her!

Chan was very helpful and encouraging and perfectly tailored the lesson to my goals and skill level. She made learning first words in a brand new language fun and informative and it was an excellent experience!!

I believe that to learn to speak Lao well you have to start off by speaking Lao not very well. I'm at that stage and Chan is so patient and encouraging in helping me to get better!
