My name is Matthew and I am a 23 year-old student living in Mexico. I am currently studying linguistics and English. I have always had a passion for languages and I spend a large amount of time every day learning foreign languages. I can speak 3 languages (English, Afrikaans and Spanish) and am hoping to add more to that list in the future. I know what it takes to learn a foreign language and I have developed my own method method that I am sure you can benefit from as well. I love listening to music, playing guitar and spending time with my 3 cats. I am a very relaxed person and I believe that in order to be a good teacher, you need to make the lessons enjoyable and completely without stress. That means I do my best to be easy to talk to, I make sure that you feel comfortable and that lessons are always fun and entertaining. I don't judge at all and you never need to feel afraid to make mistakes when speaking to me. I believe that making mistakes and learning from them is a very important part of mastering a new language. I know it can be uncomfortable to have awkward silences during the class, so I pride myself in always having something to talk about and keeping the conversation going.
