Carlos Reyes

Excellent class structure! Carlos does well with taking the lead and guiding you through conversations even if you are uncertain on how to talk about certain topics. He is very good at asking simple questions that keep the conversation going but also challenge you to think and speak reflexively. You will find yourself problem solving and speaking about concepts in Spanish that you did not think you were capable of, and Carlos' methods make it so that you can do so without fear or anxiety! Great teacher!

My first class with Carlos was awesome! I'm super excited to add him to my repertoire of teachers here on italki. He exudes great energy, passion, and enthusiasm for teaching and is a fantastic conversationalist. Carlos gently made corrections during the class without being abrupt or obtrusive. This is something I seek and appreciate! Thank you Carlos! I very much look forward to our next class!

Carlos is an excellent teacher! I'd highly recommend him if you want to learn with someone that knows what he is doing as a teacher, but also a class that feels like you are talking to a good friend. Definitely one of the nicest, most upbeat and interesting teachers I've had. Our one hour classes fly by because the conversation is so interesting. Although I'm writing in English (to help those that can't read Spanish so well), I have an advanced level and Carlos notices even the smallest details to make sure that I sound natural when I'm speaking. Looking forward to the next class amigo :)

Como siempre, me encanta platicar con Carlos. Son conversaciones naturales, como las que tendría con cualquier amigo, pero además de eso, me permiten mejorar mi español y mi comprensión cultural de México cada vez más. Gracias, Carlos 🙂

This was my first italki class and it was great. I was looking to have a conversation at a pace and level that I could understand and Carlos did exactly that. He did a great job of leading the conversation so it flowed well, asked lots of questions to get me speaking, and stayed entirely in Spanish unless it was obvious that I needed clarification. I’ll definitely book with Carlos again and can’t recommend him enough.
