大家好，我叫Kiny，我係土生土長的廣東人，曾於香港小學教中文，同時也教導非華語小朋友，我喜歡同小朋友相處，明白外國小朋友學習中文的難處，中文主要分為兩部分，普通話和粵語，無論普通話還是粵語都有各自的發音體系，普通話分為四聲調，粵語則六聲調，無論那一種語言，我都會鼓勵大家從聽説入手，我亦會為你輔以拼音和解説,希望在課堂上和你見面。 Hello, everyone, I am Kiny, I was born in Guangdong, now I am living in HongKong. I used to teach Chinese in primary school, I taught local students and NCS(Non-Chinese speaking) students, I like to get along with little kids and also know the difficulties in learning Chinese as a foreign language. Chinese is widely divided into two types, Putonghua and Cantonese, both of them have their own pronunciation system, no matter which language, I will encourage you to start with speaking and listening. Kiny is really a good teacher. We would have basic conversations to just to keep me speaking. We would also go back to the previous lesson and review the past lesson to see if I am understanding the materials. Kiny would always encourage me to speak more even though I am a beginner and help me boost my confidence. Thank you teacher Kiny.

As someone who has an intermediate command of Mandarin, it was important to me to find a Cantonese teacher who is also proficient in Mandarin to put vocabulary into context and show similarities and differences between the two languages. Studying Cantonese with Kiny is a great pleasure, I appreciate the exposure to her spoken Cantonese, making each lesson very rewarding as a language learner. Kiny is always very well prepared, perfectly organised and provides a clear structure for her lessons. She is patient, supportive and in short: an excellent companion if you want to start with Cantonese or take your language skills to a next level!

Kiny is an amazing teacher! She is so patient and kind. One of my favourite aspects of the class is that Kiny teaches me the academic/formal language but also teaches me about the colloquial alternatives or spoken forms, ensuring I am better able to communicate with native Mandarin speakers. I always have a great time in my classes!

This is my first time taking the lesson and it is really good. I got the chance to practice speaking even though I am a beginner. The teacher encourage me to speak in the lesson to practice my pronunciation of each words. It help me a lot and I really like the class and how the class is structure to my level. I will definitely book more classes in the future.
