Rinona

Nona-san, is one of the best teachers I have found on iTalki. I tried quite a few teachers before I found Nona. She has been teaching me for over 2 years and she is always great fun to have lessons with. She speaks very good English (almost like a native speaker) which means she can answer complicated questions the student might ask in English. I highly recommend Nona Sensei as the first Japanese teacher to try.

Today we talked about everything from Doraemon to konjac!! Nona is always happy to share her knowledge of Japanese culture! Some people have a naturally open and kind personality that makes them great teachers. Nona is definitely one of these people! Thank you for another fun lesson!!

Highly recommend Nona-sensei. She is creative and fun during lessons and always happy to answer questions or talk about areas of interest. She also has excellent English which makes things easy for us beginners!

It's been already one year since I started learning japanese with Nona-sensei. Back then I was a complete beginner, I could just say some of those words that anyone who watches anime know. One year and around 50 lessons later I can comfortably say I got rid of that status of beginner and everytime I get the chance to interact with japanese people I can successfully have a conversation with them. Things like this bring me enormous joy. And that's thanks to all the help Nona gave me. Of course my level is not very high yet, I still have lots to learn. But I'm sure Sensei will keep helping me achieve my new goals as she always did so far: with a smile on her face and lots of patience. Not to mention that she is so friendly that makes it extremely easy to talk to her. If you're reading this and looking for a teacher, I strongly reccomend Nona. I'm just sorry for her that she will have to deal with me for other 1,2,3,4...years (joking 笑).　 Vote: 10/10 またお誕生日おめでとう、先生

Nona-san is the best!

I can't recommend Nona-san as a teacher highly enough! She is really good at explaining the details, patterns, and reasons within the Japanese language, that some native speakers find hard to articulate because for them it is intuitive - Nona-san excels at explaining and making clear these trickier and more subtle points. She is proactive in her teaching, choosing new topics to study that she believes will benefit you most. It is clear she cares deeply about and gets a lots of satisfaction in seeing her students progress. She is calm, friendly, engaging, and easy to talk to, and lesson are always fun :)
