About Me

My name is Kevin. I am from Washington DC but I live in Mallorca, Spain. I love to travel, in addition to America, I have lived in England, Cyprus, Italy, and Spain.
I love sports, I have been playing basketball all my life and I coached it for three seasons in America. I love exercising, watching great films, and learning about new cultures.

I was a History Teacher from the United States. I have Master's Degree in Education and a Bachelor's Degree in History. I taught in the USA for 8 years where I taught American History, American Culture and Personal Finance. Then I moved to Seville, Spain and taught in the Spanish school system, teaching History and preparing students for Cambridge exams.
After moving to Mallorca from Seville, I switched to the British school system. So, if you are interested in learing about the USA, Spanish or British school systems or want exam prep regarding AP US History, the Cambridge exams from B1 to level C1, or IGCSE exams, I can help you!My lessons & teaching style
I would describe my teaching style as informative, dynamic, and humorous. Above all else, my classes are going to be engaging, fun, and comfortable. I want to cater to you as an English language learner. When you have a lesson with me, you will be engaged. I will be energized and provide you with dynamic lesson plans, be it exercises readings, or simulated conversations to simulate the real world. When you have a lesson with me, we are going to have fun. We will laugh and become friends through humorous lessons. When you have a lesson with me, I do not want you to be afraid to make mistakes, making mistakes is part of learning.My teaching material

I really enjoyed the conversation with Kevin during this package. It was very engaging and insightful. He came very prepared to the class. As I requested to talk in specific topics, and he always assigned readings or podcasts that were relevant to those topics so that we could build up our talk based on my observation.
