Hi! I’m Nikki. I teach English and Filipino here on Italki. I speak a little bit of Japanese as well. I'm curious about all kinds of things, especially psychology, history, languages, and world cultures. I also enjoy reading, watching anime, and playing video games. I've been teaching for six years, and I like to plan my lessons around what my students want to learn. Lesson Types: 1. Kids, Teens, & Exam Prep (Structured) I love teaching younger learners! I use materials like Power Up (Cambridge Primary) for kids and the Oxford Achieve series for teenagers, alongside educational websites, to keep lessons fun and effective. For IELTS Speaking and Cambridge English exams, I provide targeted coaching focused on exam strategies and mock practice. We’ll work directly on the skills you need to get familiar with the format and reach your target score. 2. General English & Conversation (Flexible) For students building fluency, our lessons are organic but progressive. We start with familiar interests and move into a wide range of topics to help you build vocabulary and express your thoughts clearly in any situation. To help you improve, I’ll point out mistakes, suggest more natural expressions, and help you sound more fluent in conversation. My approach adapts to your goals. Whether you’re moving abroad, preparing for an exam or an interview, or just improving your English, we’ll build the skills and confidence you need to move forward!
