With seven years of experience in international cultural exchange—including coordinating volunteer work camps and collaborating with the European Voluntary Service via Erasmus+ partnerships—I’ve facilitated cross-cultural communication for global participants. Since 2019, I’ve transitioned this expertise into teaching French online, specializing in immersive, conversation-based instruction tailored to real-world contexts. My approach prioritizes natural language acquisition over rigid textbook methods, ideal for professionals, travelers, or enthusiasts seeking practical fluency. (Note: Instruction is exclusively for learners above 15yo to 65yo.)
Me as a Teacher
According to me, learning can be fun and did in an alive and natural way.
Lots of foreign students admitted the academic way could be tedious overtime and when they obtained their degrees, they even couldn't really speak French naturally and fluency.
And because of that, I like to teach French in an "alive" way.
Please note: I DON'T WORK WITH CHILDREN because I don't have the skills to do that...
I only accept students from 15yo to 60yo.
Thank for your understanding.
My lessons & teaching style
The method I use is what I call the "living" one.
It's indeed through "conversational classes" that you will be able to practice your oral skills, while with the informal tutoring, it will be more focused on the understanding, pronouncing and writing French as it is currently used in France.
And all of this in a natural and relaxed way.
This doesn't exclude, of course, some practical exercises, such as writing texts, reading or dictation, if the student wishes.
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, I will be happy to accompany you throughout your "language odyssey".

It was amazing, he corrected some mistakes I’ve been making for a really long time and nobody told me before I was making them. It was fun and I feel like learning French again!

Patrick is a fantastic teacher who shares cool adventures in France as a backdrop to our conversations. I really enjoy these weekly discussions while increasing my real-world conversational skills and getting intimate tours of quaint middle-aged villages.
