I work on a few platforms and I'm usually booked in advance for at least a week. If you can't find a time that suits your needs, please write me a message and we can figure out a way to fit you in. It might look like I don't have much available, but I'm on here nine hours per day, seven days per week. I can find time for you.
Other than an English tutor, I'm a modern blues rock musician and have an album being released at the end of this year. I'm writing a fantasy fiction novel for adolescents, with each chapter containing philosophical and psychological advice on how to face the problems of today. And I'm working on the MVP for a geo-location/social media mobile application.Me as a Teacher
Before the pandemic, I was teaching face-to-face around Sicily and Rome (at which time I became TEFL certified). I then ran a successful 'English Conversational Aperitivo' in Milan before moving to Brussels to become a Cicerone. When the pandemic struck, I switched to teaching online and really enjoyed both the comforts and possibilities of working in a relaxed environment and having immediate access to information. With over 4000 hours logged teaching online, I decided to switch to conversational classes only, as I've found the best way to get students to retain information is by talking about what's important to them.My lessons & teaching style
I like my work. I find ways to connect with my students in order to create a working environment with as little stress as possible while maintaining a professional work ethic.
I correct mistakes in the chat window so as not to disrupt the flow of the conversation; I introduce vocabulary in context so that the brain has a reason to retain new information; and I give personalised recommendations on how I feel you could study in your spare time.
