About Me

Hello, my name is Victoria. I am a professional English teacher on italki. I am from Moscow, Russia. I graduated from Moscow State Linguistic University and got a degree in teaching English. In 2014-2020 I worked as English teacher at two leading universities in Moscow where I taught General English, Advanced English Grammar and English in Professional communication. I am Ph.D. and author of more than 10 publications in leading journals. I am certified to prepare students for the State exam in English, which in Russian sounds like "ЕГЭ по предмету Английский язык". The students who I prepared for the State exam in English are now studying at leading Russian universities.

Me as a Teacher

I am inspiring, attentive and serious teacher. I can explain in simple words the most difficult grammar rules. I am meticulous about my students' pronunciation. My students appreciate that I always make the lesson interesting and motivate them to speak English and study thoroughly. I believe that individual lessons of English are most efficient because all students are different and they all have different goals and interests. So, for each and every one, I always personalize the learning program.

My lessons & teaching style

I have been giving individual lessons of English for more than 10 years. My students are kids, teenagers, and adults. I teach my students using the best Oxford and Cambridge textbooks, the best English literature, the best English songs, and the best films and videos in English. Being a Russian native speaker, I am perfectly aware of all the difficulties that Russian learners of English might have, and I am always happy to help my students overcome any difficulties and start speaking English with pleasure! Come on! It’s time to study English!
