Ms.Nitz

Nitz is an excellent teacher. I started learning Malayalam out of interest a little over a year ago. Today I completed my 100th lesson. In a short amount of time, I was able to speak. Recently, I managed to read Aadujeevitham, a critically acclaimed novel written in Malayalam. I can now watch Malayalam movies without subtitles, read, write, and have a conversation with native speakers. This is tremendous progress and would not be possible without Nitz. I know 5 other languages so learning a new language is not something I did recently. However, I can confidently say that Nitz is the best language teacher to learn from. Her approach to teaching is unique and she makes you feel comfortable. It can be intimidating to learn a new language, but she is fluent in many topics, and she always manages to strike up a conversation in the topics that interest you. She comes down to your level to make you feel confident. I am glad I chose Nitz as my teacher. Plus, she is super fun to talk to :)

I was able to review what I already knew and she was able to give me a constructive class schedule for what she can offer in terms of going through each part of the sentence and building on each to be able to create sentences. I was pretty excited to see how well it was designed and it feels definitely encouraging to be able to get a class specialized in these focus areas. Good start!

Another lesson with Nitz, and I'm so excited to learn Malayalam. She explains everything clearly and helps a lot with correcting my pronunciation which is crucial in learning a new language. I highly recommend Nitz.

Class with Ms. Nitz has felt comfortable despite the difficulty of learning Malayalam, and her whiteboard approach has been very helpful throughout our lessons. Homeworks are carefully tailored to the lessons and to specific difficulties faced within the lesson and/or on a previous homework. Always eager for the next class!
