We jumped right in today. After talking about my explorations of getting some exposure to a bit of signing using the resources Amy provided, we started the process of working through a basic story. Amy did an amazing job of explaining how to move from individual words on the page to thinking of topics and overarching concepts. There’s a flexibility and dynamism to the process of trying to think that way that is really fun and engaging, even at this early stage. I learned a lot in a short time today and I’m looking forward to practicing and to the next lessons with Amy.
