Hi! I’m Stefan, a passionate language tutor from South Africa’s scenic Stellenbosch. With 7+ years of teaching English and Afrikaans, I specialise in lively, conversation-driven lessons—think philosophy, music, poetry, and art woven into learning! I have occupied a teaching role for numerous years and run an educational company in South Africa alongside my Media Company. I am passionate about efficiency and finding the best ways to receive the best results with less effort. I have spent many hours learning foreign languages myself, so I can relate to your journey and help you find the most efficient ways to acquire your chosen language as this is something very important for me in my personal life too. I believe that having fun is the best way to acquire any skill so I strive to create an environment where you can learn your chosen language in the most fun way possible.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style is informal and focuses on creating a relaxed environment where you feel free to make mistakes and learn. We will mostly focus on having conversations and speaking as much as possible as this is the best way to acquire any language. In our lessons, we will make sure to address your goals and aspirations so that I can adjust the lessons according to your specific needs. And finally, I will make sure that we have fun in the process.Education

I felt at home with Stefan! He's such a good teacher, I love his positive energy and the way he tries to make you feel at ease. Learning English with him it will be a pleasure also because he likes the same things: music, travels, jokes... He taught me many different things about culture, movies and places in your country. Stefan is a wonderful teacher--thoughtful, curious, encouraging, and enthusiastic. He is clearly passionate about Afrikaans and that fun and passion rubs off you when taking his lessons. I enjoy how has always asks if I know a word or way of saying something first and kindly quizzes me on what we've learned without any pressure. I look forward to each of my lessons and am excited for all of those yet to come!
