Hola, my name is Samuel but you can call me Profe. I have over seven years of experience in tutoring & teaching, including teaching English to non-native speakers in Costa Rica, Japan, and all over the world and teaching Spanish from elementary to advanced levels. I love learning new languages, traveling, music, acting, and dancing in my free time. I've lived in Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica & Japan. I have over 7 years of experience teaching both Spanish and English to non-native speakers. I studied at Morehouse College and La Universidad de Veritas where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish. I taught for a year in Japan, 5 months in Costa Rica and people all over the world virtually. I also teach children occasionally in various US charter schools. I am excited to teach you Spanish and English, and I am confident you will enjoy our time together! Be it music, fun riddles or online videos that I use, I extrapolate from many subjects to help my tutees comprehend and master the skills in the subject matter at hand. Mastering a language or concept in Math requires practice, patience and a can-do attitude. I've found that the aforementioned are core ingredients to my students' progress and their academic success. With my help, it is my hope that you will not only know the right answer but that you will understand why the answer is right and even more, feel empowered and equip to find the right answer by yourself.
