I am a mother of four who lives in Ohio in the United States. In addition to teaching English, I also enjoy learning Japanese, teaching yoga, weight lifting, painting, taking portraits, and traveling. I have traveled to more than 30 countries. I have lived in Japan, Mexico, England, and Poland. My favorite city in the US is Sedona, Arizona. My favorite city in the world is Queretaro, Mexico. I spend my days homeschooling my children.

I have a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in English with a concentration in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I have more than twenty years of experience. I have taught English in the United States, Mexico, and Poland. I have more than 20,000 classes on-line to more than 4000 different students. I have taught all ages and levels. Students comment to me that they appreciate my patience, enthusiasm, and focus. I provide corrections with positivity and encouragement. My goal is for students to leave each class feeling like they learned as much as they possibly could and motivated to learn more! My lessons & teaching style
I am known for my clear, distinct enunciation and standard Midwestern accent and accurate pronunciation. Students also tell me they appreciate that I am able provide corrections with understandable explanations. I enjoy creating materials to help visual learners grasp new words and concepts. I have a large collection of photos and slides to spark conversation and demonstrate meaning. I provide homework and learning materials as needed. I adapt the lesson to the learning style, level, personality, and needs of each student. I am enthusiastic and dedicated to filling each minute of class with as much learning as possible!
