Hi!
I'm Ralph, a native English speaker originally from the south of England. I enjoy music, languages, video games, travelling, good food, sports, and of course, conversations. I am also a music teacher and saxophonist. My family and I live in Newcastle, in the North East of England. Recently we spent three years living in Portugal which was incredible.
I am a qualified English teacher, working online since 2021. I love helping students as they work towards goals and understanding challenging subjects.
My grammar lessons use resources from standard Oxford and Cambridge workbooks. They can be as relaxed or as intense as you wish.

I am a qualified English teacher (CELTA) and have been teaching online since early 2021. As I have been learning Japanese through italki for a while, I know how important it is to find a teacher who encourages you to reach your potential. I hope I can be that teacher for you!
I have taught music (piano and saxophone) for nearly 20 years, so I am very comfortable teaching in a one-on-one environment. I really enjoy helping students work through problems and understand the details of the subject.

We had such a great chat with Ralph! We discussed the topic of Stereotypes, and I can say that the stereotype of "closed and arrogant Brits" is completely unfair!
