Hi, my name is Brenda Montes. I'm 26 years old and I'm mexican, I've been living in Mexico since I was born so I speak Spanish as my mother language. I have a degree in Fine Arts, and I have experience teaching how to make mexican handcrafts to people of all ages. And I'm currently learning English and Russian on my own. Se lo complicado que puede ser el aprendizaje de un nuevo idioma ya que lo he vivido de primera mano, considero que lo más importante es ser constante, paciente y confiar en el proceso. Estoy abierta a conocer cosas nuevas y a hablar de todo tipo de temas interesantes. I know how complex it may be to learn a new language because I've experienced it firsthand. I think that the most important part about it is being consistent, patient, and to trust the process. I'm open to learn new things and talking about all kinds of interesting topics. What a wonderful first lesson! Brenda is easy to talk to, and it felt like chatting with a friend. Brenda has been the first italki teacher to bring up inclusive language with me, and it was great to talk about that. Highly recommend!

Brenda is an absolutely wonderful teacher! She is excellent at explaining concepts/teaching new vocabulary and great at asking questions and creating comfortable environments for natural conversations. She is also very creative in her teaching style, and has brought videos, music, and stories into our classes. I would highly recommend her to anyone! :)
