My name is Alan and I am originally from the country of Mexico, I live in the state of Baja California Sur specifically in the city of La Paz which is a very touristic city, I am currently a software development engineer, in general my hobbies are watching movies and reading novels, I also have a great interest in food and culture from around the world.

My session with Alan was my first session on italki and it was a great experience. Alan was supportive and allowed me a second to think when I was stuck before gently correcting or offering the word I was looking for. I am still quite nervous speaking Spanish, especially since it's been a long time, so I was worried there would be a lot of awkward silence. Alan continued the conversation by asking questions that I could understand but that made me think. Definitely recommend Alan for conversational practice!
