I am a language tutor. Professionally, I have completed a PhD in Physics and my area of research is thin film and semiconductor device physics. PLEASE NOTE: You will not get a refund for the unattended lesson unless you inform me ONE HOUR prior to the lesson. I love teaching different interesting things as I am a very creative and innovative teacher. My students always liked me because I am very patient and friendly with them. I teach English, Hindi and Kannada languages for all the levels. Additionally, I have some valuable tips for the IELTS test which I cracked recently and scored 8.5 in listening, 9 in reading, 7 in writing and 6.5 in speaking. Hence I would love to share them with my students so that they can also clear the test with their desired band score ( more than 7). Most of my students are from, US, UK, Germany, Israel, Switzerland, Japan, Cyprus, Costa Rica, Hungary and Italy. As far as my working experience is concerned, firstly, I have 5 years of teaching experience to kids and adults as a home tutor. Shreya is the kind of teacher who can plan around my language needs very flexibly. I’m learning Kannada in order to fit in with my in-laws, and Shreya has modified parts of her lesson plan for precisely those needs - but I can also suddenly express interest in random vocabulary and she will happily teach that as well! Besides all of that, she’s very supportive and genuinely happy when I do well, which feels great. I feel I’ve made really good progress in the few lessons I’ve had so far, and I’m looking forward to continuing to gain fluency in Kannada!
