I was raised in the state of Delaware in the United States, but I currently live in Alajuela Costa Rica. I have learned Spanish and am currently learning Japanese. I enjoy teaching English because I like watching my students grow along their language learning journey. I received my certification to teach English as a foreign language from the International TEFL Academy in 2020. In my classes I focus on communication as the most valuable learning tool. Learning to use English by speaking about subjects that matter to you will propel your language learning process. I will supplement your learning with worksheets that you can practice and review. I am an English teacher. For beginner students I provide lesson plans to fit your needs. These lessons include; Vocabulary, Grammar, Speaking, Reading and Writing practice
For intermediate and Advanced students I prefer a conversational style of lesson. Practicing conversation is the best way to increase fluency and accuracy in a language.My teaching material

Great lesson! We covered a topic that I’m not really familiar with so I think its a good way for me to improve my conversational skills. 30 mins is not enough, I will book a longer lesson next time 😬
