Gday! My name is Lachlan, an Australian who has a strong passion for languages and connecting with people from all over the world! I love to travel, can speak french and am currently learning Portuguese. In addition to languages, I love to get out into nature, explore new places, go for a run and meet new people.
Iām a TEFL-certified English teacher with over 4 years of experience teaching online, as well as through a volunteer migrant program here in Australia (AMEP). Iāve worked with students from all kinds of backgrounds, especially those looking to live, study, or work in Australia.
I focus on making lessons relaxed and practicalāhelping with things like Australian slang, pronunciation, accent, and everyday communication. Iām patient, easy to talk to, and always aim to create a comfortable space where you can build confidence and improve your English at your own pace.
I adapt my lessons to the specific student, depending on what youāre looking to improve. I always try to keep things relaxed and comfortable, so you feel confident to give things a go and not worry about making mistakes.
If you want to focus on conversation, we can have engaging chats on different topics while I help with corrections along the way. Iām also happy to work on grammar, and I like to mix in videos and articles to keep lessons interesting.
