I am an energetic, enthusiastic , and mature Canadian man. Most of my learners would describe me as a technically-minded and able person.
Before I returned to English teaching, I was an accountant in the Canadian energy (oil & gas) industry. I graduated with a Canadian Commercial Pilot Licence (1992).Me as a Teacher
I have eleven (11) years of English teaching experience, mostly with adults ESL learners. I think of myself as more of a coach than a teacher! Learning is much more important than teaching: my job is to motivate and encourage my learners to become more confident in themselves. I don't just 'teach' English! I help motivate student
Nowadays, I am more focused on helping B2's, C1's, and C2's practice and improve their spoken English skills. Still, I enjoy working with any learners aged 17 and older.
Please, DON'T request a lesson unless you are at least 17 and have B2 or higher in the CEF. I DO NOT continue working with unmotivated students of any age: please DO NOT book lessons for children.My lessons & teaching style
