Certified ESL teacher with over 8 years of experience - specialising in IELTS My name is Dom and I'm very excited to be here on iTalki to help you on your English journey. I am a Londoner born and raised, but I left London in 2016 to travel and teach English. Before I left the UK I worked as a civil engineer and have recently been working in wind energy in Taiwan. I currently live in Taiwan and am very grateful to have a career that allows me to work online, meaning that I can pursue my passion for travelling. I'm also super into photography and working out. 我会说中文. Please note that one-hour classes may finish a few minutes early. I teach all kinds of classes, not only IELTS! I have been teaching for over eight years now with lots of varied experience. In terms of one-to-one classes, I have taught 5000+ hours of classes to kids and adults of all ages. I have worked offline in training centres, schools, as an English teacher for the Thai government and also as a private tutor. I now mostly teach online.
