Hi! I'm Nessma, a passionate language teacher.
Outside of teaching, I’m someone who loves languages, cultures, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. I have a deep passion for linguistics and enjoy learning new languages myself—I’m currently exploring German, Turkish, and French! In my free time, I love reading, especially about mythology and history, and I also have a keen interest in fitness and healthy living. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I’m always looking for new ways to grow and challenge myself. I’ve been teaching languages for years, helping students from all over the world improve their Arabic (both Egyptian and Standard) and English. My teaching journey started in 2019, and since then, I’ve worked with learners of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced speakers.

Nessma helps me so much to speak the Egyptian Arabic language and to really hone in on the concepts that I don't understand well so that I can make the correction and use the phrase or sentence structure correctly the next time. It has been such an amazing experience working with her for over a year. Her grace and understanding and patience when I sometimes ask her to explain the same concept over again is astounding. She understands English exceptionally well and always tries to convey what the Arabic meaning would be in English so that it can be contextualized for my understanding. She truly is the best Arabic teacher I've ever had and am so privileged that I can learn from her multiple times a week.

Nessma taught me the meaning to several phrases and words that I'm trying to learn by listening to audio dialogues. She helped me also to understand the connection between these words to other words that have the same roots as well. I feel more confident in my speaking ability every time we meet.

Nessma helped me to understand vocabulary associated with going on a beach vacation. This is super helpful as I want to visit the beaches in Egypt. She explained a lot of things through photos today and it helped me to visualize the things she was explaining. I'm so glad to be able to talk all in Arabic with her now. It's taken me so long but I'm finally feeling comfortable enough not to keep asking what every word is in a sentence. I'm putting together the meanings and it makes a huge difference in my confidence as well.
