Hi! I'm Nessma, a passionate language teacher. Outside of teaching, I’m someone who loves languages, cultures, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. I have a deep passion for linguistics and enjoy learning new languages myself—I’m currently exploring German, Turkish, and French! In my free time, I love reading, especially about mythology and history, and I also have a keen interest in fitness and healthy living. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I’m always looking for new ways to grow and challenge myself. If you're looking for a tutor who is patient, friendly, and truly invested in your progress, I’d love to be part of your language-learning experience!

Nessma helps me so much to speak the Egyptian Arabic language and to really hone in on the concepts that I don't understand well so that I can make the correction and use the phrase or sentence structure correctly the next time. It has been such an amazing experience working with her for over a year. Her grace and understanding and patience when I sometimes ask her to explain the same concept over again is astounding. She understands English exceptionally well and always tries to convey what the Arabic meaning would be in English so that it can be contextualized for my understanding. She truly is the best Arabic teacher I've ever had and am so privileged that I can learn from her multiple times a week.

As always, Nessma is so great! I messaged her a few hours before my lesson today to ask if we could cover a specific topic that I enjoy speaking about in English; she put together a lesson for it right away! Things like this help keep learning extremely fun and curiosity-driven. I'm very appreciative!

I took about 10 Arabic lessons with Nessma before going on vacation to Egypt. Nessma is an amazing teacher! She is kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and really goes above and beyond for her students. She customized the lessons to exactly what I needed to know for my trip. I would recommend her to anyone. 'Alfi shukr Nessma!

Nessma helped me to learn the Fadil or "remaining" construction in Egyptian Arabic and how it is used from the Kalimmni Arabi book 4. This was very helpful to learn as situations arise very frequently that use it. I'm excited to learn this construction better from the book and continue to be challenged with more concepts. Nessma also answered many clarifying questions I had about other words and phrases I was confused by. She is great and I'm so happy to hear her explanations because she always contextualizes it to make sense.

Nessma helped me to understand some new phrases that I've always wanted to know how to say in Egyptian Arabic. She also reminded me of some phrases and verbs we have gone over in the past as a refresher. I was glad to learn how strong consonants in Arabic also change the emphasis on other accents in a word in Arabic too. She gave me several examples of this and it was nice to see that. I feel more and more confident in speaking Arabic all the time.
