I often attend language exchanges and help English learners with their studies whenever the opportunity comes up. I have a lot of fun helping others and it’s made me become interested in teaching. One thing that I can do for students is help with their pronunciation. There are a lot of English teachers with different accents and of course, there’s nothing wrong with that, but in my experience I find that many students often want to learn to speak in “California English.” Along with that, I help students learn idioms - which are non-literal figures of speech. Lastly, if the student takes an interest in L.A. culture, I like to add a little bit of slang into our conversations.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style will consist of casual conversation practice or tutoring. If you just want to chat, or if need help with your homework, I will gladly mold my lesson to your needs.5.0
