Jefferson Gomes

Jefferson is truly and incredible teacher! I recently completed my 100th lesson with him and feel so grateful for his expertise and patience. I meet with him 3 times a week and always find myself smiling after the lessons because he finds a way to make learning a new language fun! He’s brilliant as a professor, creative in his materials, and always happy to adjust to my season of life. I can’t recommend him enough. Obrigada, Jefferson!!

I took 16 classes with Jefferson for my trip to Brazil. After returning home, I fully admit it was the best decision ever. Many times, the Portuguese saved my life there, and I felt relaxed and prepared for it. Jefferson not only introduced the language to me but walked me through everyday situations through really cool dialogues - how to make an order in a restaurant, buy a bus ticket, talk to a police officer (luckily, I didn’t use it in real life)… Apart from being helpful, our classes were engaging, fun and built specifically for my needs. If I go to Brazil ever again, I will definitely take another course with Jefferson before my next trip.

Jefferson delivered a top of the line class and I am very impressed with his method and professionalism. He is impeccable in his teaching and I know my pronunciation is going to improve dramatically with his help. His lesson style is very unique and well structured. I definitely recommend him to anybody looking to improve their Portuguese. :) :)

This lesson we continued asking each other questions using onde, quando, como, quanto, qual, o que, quem and por que. Jefferson's classes are really comfortable. Each class he helps solidify what I've learned and gently corrects any mistakes I make.

Jefferson is a great teacher! I have taken a couple of classes from him so far and he makes the lessons fun and engaging!
