I have been studying with Ahmed for sometime now, and he's an absolute pleasure to work with. He's easy to talk to and takes good notes in Arabic and English while we work together so that I have vocabulary to review afterwards. He's able to explain grammar and vocabulary in a way that makes it easy to comprehend and integrate into my own Arabic.

I love the way Ahmed teaches me Arabic in the Syrian accent. He is very engaging, supportive and he interacts with me. We work well together on Google Sheets and or Google Docs. Learning from Ahmed is like learning from a family member who is friendly, focused and relaxed as we talked about the topic. I'm able to use what I learned to talk with other Arab speaking people.

I rarely leave reviews for teachers, but after learning Levantine Arabic with Ahmed for some time now, I can say he is a rare find on iTalki. He is very professional, intelligent, knowledgeable, patient, and has a great sense of humour. While he keeps the lessons professional, you can still sense his warm and humorous personality. One of his strongest qualities is the way he makes students feel at ease when speaking, which is so important when learning a new language. From the very beginning, I was impressed with how quickly he understood my level. He always used sentences just slightly above my ability—keeping me comfortable while gently pushing me to improve. I would highly recommend Ahmed to anyone who wants to learn MSA, Gulf or Levantine Arabic.
