SILVIA

I know some basics of Spanish. But has been too many years since I wanted to learn to speak Spanish at a good conversational level. There is never enough time or motivation to learn the language on my own. So I decided to find a teacher to help me get on track. What I like about Silvia's classes is that she always brings energy to class. She has great sense of humor, is well prepared for classes and has lots of teaching experience. She genuinely enjoys sharing Spanish culture and connects it to the language learning. Speaking about movies, food, interesting places and just life experiences makes learning vocabulary and grammar much more entertaining. Certainly, it is a long journey but I think that having a great teacher will help me get to a decent practical level of speaking Spanish.

Silvia is awesome! She pushes me to reach a higher level of conversation each lesson! She allows me to choose what topic I want to discuss and prepares follow up activities that are engaging and allow me to practice my conversation skills more in depth!

Silvia is a great teacher with interactive methods, I’ve had her for years now, and I’ve never once been disappointed. She helps me with homework and I have never failed a test with her help. Truly a great teacher, definitely recommend.

Silvia was incredibly helpful in boosting my Spanish capabilities especially in speaking! She always has a lesson plan, and adapts it based on what is happening in school, so I can be prepared for tests and be ahead of the class. She will also clarify any doubts I am having in school, and revise those topics.

Had a great lesson learning about Spanish festivals. Silvia is very patient while I work out my sentences in Spanish and helps me with hints and clues, and better pronunciation.

Had a great lesson with Silvia today. She very patiently worked through all my questions about direct and indirect injection pronouns and I now understand them much better. And I still had fun and enjoyed the lesson! Thank you Silvia 😀
