Best teacher ever! I am 36 learning Portuguese because my wife is from Brazil. Ricardo is patient and easy to get along with - I would consider him a friend now. He teaches at my learning pace. Since I have a full-time job, the pace is slower at only one 60 minute lesson per week. However, if you want to learn quickly, because you need to for work or you are moving, he can also set a more aggressive curriculum. He is very forgiving with reschedules, even if they are last minute (I still always pay him). I have been taking classes with him for over a year and will continue to for many years until I am fluent as we will eventually move to Brazil for retirement. I feel I am making good progress. If you are searching for an English or Portuguese (or any language that Ricardo speaks) teacher then look no further - this is your guy.

I can’t express enough how grateful I am for Ricardo’s support. I needed to learn Portuguese for a professional/business setting, and he went above and beyond to ensure I was well-prepared. He’s consistently friendly, punctual, and thoroughly prepared for every session. I highly recommend his classes to anyone looking to learn Portuguese effectively and confidently.

Amazing teacher! Great lessons every time!

I highly recommend Ricardo as a Portuguese tutor. His teaching style is clear, engaging, and incredible effective! Thanks to his guidance, I was able to pass a Portuguese language test required by my company. An achievement that opened the door to exciting new professional opportunities. I couldn't have achieved this without his help! Ricardo is patient, knowledgeable, and always focused on helping his students succeed. He goes above and beyond to make sure each lesson is personalized and productive. For anyone serious about learning Portuguese, Ricardo is an outstanding choice! Muito obrigado por tudo!

I really enjoyed the class. Ricardo prepared a very good lesson, used a lot of materials and gave very good input.

Always a great pleasure to have a class with Ricardo. He’s an excellent professor and our conversations are always interesting.
