Sarah Moon

Ms. Moon is an amazing teacher who is passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging all at once. Throughout the past few months she's been a wonderful mentor, and I've been progressing extremely well, and have obtained conversational fluency despite only starting lessons for a few months! She's an absolute gem and an incredible teacher ❤️

Our lesson on cooking coincided with Chuseok, so we also talked about the foods that are prepared for the holiday. I really like how Teacher Moon incorporates history and culture with the language lessons.

I've been taking classes with Sarah for a while now and it's so good to see myself progressing. Sarah is incredibly kind and patient and always encouraging. I enjoy that our lessons involve more chatting lately as well as learning more vocabulary and grammar. I always look forward to my classes with her 😊

선생님 is alway's great, I love my lessons with her, I usually come prepared with pictures of things I've done or cooked and we chat all about them, and she gives me lots of insight into korean culture. I always finish my lessons feeling like I've learned a little more Korean and come away even more confident.

We finished Book 4! I don't know how I could have gotten so far without Teacher Moon's encouragement and teaching methods. I'm looking forward to continuing with Book 5 and our fun conversations during lessons. : )

I like that so much of our time in the lesson is talking with each other. Listening and speaking are the hardest for me, and it's really helpful to not just repeat phrases, but actually practice making conversation.
