I am a native speaker of Mandarin and Shanghainese. I completed my bachelor's in Nanjing, China and received the Master's degree from University of Waterloo in December 2024. In my free time, I enjoy climbing, working out at the gym, watching movies, and traveling. I love engaging in conversations with people from diverse backgrounds and sharing interesting life experiences. Previously, I worked as a software engineer in Shanghai for six months. I have a keen interest in exploring new technologies. With an IELTS speaking score of 7 and a GRE score of 323, I have the ability to explain Mandarin to complete beginners and ensure they understand. I've been teaching Chinese since 2020 and have volunteered to assist international students at school, giving me teaching experience with both teenagers and adults. I am very patient and friendly.
