Bryndís Rún Hansen

Bryndís is an excellent teacher and makes Icelandic both approachable and engaging. I am not very adapt at learning new languages but working with Bryndís has rebuilt some confidence- which is impressive because of how notoriously difficult Icelandic is said to be!

Bryndis listens patiently to one’s questions and makes helpful corrections, answers, and suggestions to one’s speaking and listening abilities. She also provides clear cut examples of Icelandic usage. Her practical knowledge of both English and her native Icelandic make her an excellent instructor.

Bryndís challenges me in our conversation lessons so that I always learn new Icelandic vocabulary and phrases.

Bryndis is an exceptional teacher. She is a skilled professional who provides clear guidance for learning Icelandic. Her teaching style makes the classes both easy and enjoyable while also being very enriching.

Bryndis explained things very clearly. I will continue to take lessons with her and I highly recommend her as a language instructor.

The lesson was a perfect blend of speaking and learning - I always felt supported and could ask questions whenever I needed to. Cannot recommend this teacher enough!
