Giulia

Another wonderful lesson. It is a pleasure just to chat with Giulia for an hour each week, and to learn so much Italian at the same time is the icing on the cake. Reflecting upon how much progress I’ve made since I started taking lessons with Giulia makes me truly thankful to have found such a gifted teacher.

Giulia is such a sweet and amazing human! She’s not only caring and tries to engage with having genuine conversations, but also explains concepts and breaks down the rules clearly and constructively for easier learning. She paces the lessons well, trying to fit to your preference always. Just let her know which areas you do not understand, she will be extremely encouraging. It is obvious she is experienced, whether or not she’s taught professionally it doesn’t matter to me. She’s very relatable and enthusiastic, sometimes bringing up song lyrics, or other websites to change things up in her pedagogy. Finally, she’s supportive and patient. She waits and pauses at the right moments if she thinks you need time to absorb information or write down notes. Sometimes, when you get lost, she’ll repeat the explanation slowly and carefully go through the steps once again. This ensures the confidence to learn without judgment and to know it’s ok to make mistakes. Thank you! :)

What a joy to study with Giulia! She is a beautiful person on both the inside and outside. Her energy comes through the phone and her love for everything Italy . She is creative and engaging. She makes you feel like you are learning from family . I look forward to my journey with her as my teacher of this beautiful language.

Guilia is truly THE BEST!

Già dalla mia prima lezione con Giulia ho saputo di aver trovato un'insegnante speciale. Con lei imparo tantissimo conversando in modo naturale, vario e interessante, in un'atmosfera rilassata e divertente. La vera magia di Giulia, però, sembra essere che le sue lezioni diventino, in qualche modo che non riesco a capire bene, sempre migliori quanto più la si conosce. Abbiamo studiato un sacco di cose diverse e ci siamo sempre divertiti molto. Non vedo l'ora di vedere cosa porterà il futuro.

Adoro ogni lezione con Giulia. Ogni volta abbiamo una conversazione che abbraccia molti argomenti in un'atmosfera divertente e rilassata e imparo sempre tantissimo. Mi sento molto fortunato ad avere l'opportunità di studiare con un'insegnante così dotata, gentile e generosa.
