I'm a native Italian speaker, I live in Padua, near Venice. I'm a very curious person and I love to listen and talk to other people. I have many interests: sports, science, books, arts, politics and cultural studies. I have degrees in psychology and neuroscience, I'm interested in oriental philosophy and I've been practicing martial arts for many years. I'm a very open-minded person and very patient.Me as a Teacher
I think Italki is a perfect occasion to improve foreign languages because it offers what usually is very rare in traditional classes: a single person dedicated to you and the possibility to speak, freely and with no hurry. Conversation is the most important factor to improve a language. Moreover, I think I can make my students feel comfortable, at ease and relaxed during my classes. My golden rule is: if I am enjoying this moment and I'm having fun, so will the student. My lessons & teaching style
As a tutor, my lessons are focused on a natural conversation between me and the student, so that she or he may learn and improve the typical oral expressions and idioms. We can talk about different topics, in order to expand the vocabulary and to practice to express various ideas.My teaching material

I had my 100th lesson with Camilla today and all I can say is that I am incredibly happy to have found her. I have learned so much in this past 1.5 years to the point that I can have full conversations in Italian using formal language but also slang and I can also present my academic work with ease. She has also taught me about regional differences and to identify the different accents. I will be doing my 4th trip to Italy in a few months and I am certain I am going to have the best time thanks to Camilla! Grazie, Professoressa.
