My name is Judith, a passionate Czech language lecturer with over 10 years of experience. Holding a Ph.D. in Russian literature, I specialize in making Czech accessible to speakers of English, Russian, or Italian—tailoring lessons to your goals. Beyond teaching, I am a volunteer and I love to nurture my orchard, but my heart lies in sharing Czech culture’s depth, from history to its quirky beauty (yes, even brutalist architecture!). I have been teaching Czech, English and Russian for almost 15 years. I started teaching Czech to foreign students in the Czech republic and in Ukraine and I truly fell in love with my mother tongue. I was trained as a lecturer of Czech language by Czech Centre in Kyiv so apart from the language teaching I can offer you an insight into long Czech history and our rich culture. I always strive to adjust the lesson´s plan and style to individual requirements of students. My lessons & teaching style
In my opinion, language is a tool of communication so I always aim to tailor my lessons to the needs of students to teach them how to turn theory into practice. Speaking is a vital part of our lives and if you are a beginner I will help you to overcome shyness.
I am also ready to assist you in improving your language skills if you are an advanced student.
