Over 5 years helping people from all around the globe reach fluency in Portuguese I’m Pedro, I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro — so I’m a Carioca. I'm an electronics 💻 and agroecology 🌿 technician, but I’m currently working in IT for the government, in Foz do Iguaçu, in the state of Paraná. 👉🏻 I’m a resourceful, flexible, empathetic, and patient teacher. In class, I do my best to make the student feel comfortable speaking and challenged to improve their skills. 👉🏻 I'm part of a lovely protestant church that offers several cultural activities for the kids and teenagers in my neighborhood. For 2 years, I worked there as a volunteer teaching English and French to a group of them — and that was great! 👉🏻 Since 2021, I’ve been here on iTalki as a Portuguese tutor, helping people of all levels and various nationalities to master my mother tongue! 👉🏻 I’m a language learner, just like you! Today, I can speak English, Spanish, and French fluently. I'm currently learning Russian. 📋 I use a shared document on Google Docs to keep track of your progress and provide personalized feedback after each session. 🎲 If you need a grammar-centered lesson, it’s fine, we can do this. However, if it’s not your case, how about practicing real Portuguese through deep conversations, short videos, memes, news, or games? 💡Feel free to message me anytime if you have questions!
