Hi! I’m Gil, an experienced Hebrew tutor based in Tel Aviv. I began my academic journey in the U.S. and later studied Philosophy and Cinematography in Israel. I also completed a certificate in Animal-Assisted Therapy. Beyond academics, I love music, film, hiking, and meaningful conversations. I’ve taught hundreds of students from around the world and believe in creating a safe, relaxed environment where learning happens naturally and joyfully. Over the years, I’ve worked with students of all ages and backgrounds—some just wanted to read books together, others prepared for Hebrew exams or explored Biblical texts. I bring a warm, flexible approach, adapting to your goals and energy. Many of my students stayed with me for years and even became close friends. We might explore lyrics, analyze scenes, or just chat about what interests you. I avoid dry routines and instead create a space where learning flows naturally. It was my first lesson with Gil and I'm surprised how much I learned from him just in one hour. Gil is very patient, which is very nice since I'm a beginner. He wrote down all the words that are new to me, so that I could look them up later. And he is very friendly and fun, so the learning process is very enjoyable. Excellent lesson! Thank you, Gil!
