Even if you are a quiet person, she always makes you feel comfortable during the class. She also gives useful advice not only about learning a language but also about life. You can talk about a variety of topics, from movies to euthanasia. The most important thing is that she never skips your mistakes during conversations and corrects them on a Google document, enabling you to review them whenever you want.

We just had our 100the lesson🎊🎊. I can’t believe how much my korean had improved. At the first lesson I couldn't even read 한글 well. And we can have full conversations in Korean!! I coud have never improved this fast with 선생님! Thank you for the 100 great lesson. And let's go to the next 100!

I've been studying Korean seriously for 3 years and I was stuck in an intermediate plateau. 가람 선생님 is helping me push forward and I feel like I have some wind in my sails again. I absolutely love her structured curriculum. We free talk for a bit, we quickly review last week's material as a reinforcement, we go over the assigned homework, and we close our session with a conversation using vocabulary and questions that were given ahead of time. This allows for me to adequately prepare for the conversation, grow my vocabulary, and have many opportunities to repeat things over and over again in different sentences to really embed the material that we learn. The effort is completely on you to study -- true, yes -- but an excellent teacher will guide you on how to accomplish that. 가람 선생님 is that excellent teacher you need.

I have taken 60+ classes with Garam and my Korean has improved dramatically because of the classes. She is incredibly patient and always keeps the class interesting and engaging. She tailors the class to my interests and motivates me to continue learning. In every class I learn a lot and have fun while doing it.

Garam is really well-prepared, easy to talk with, patient and fun! She sent me the topic and focus questions/vocabulary a few days before the class so I had plenty of time to prepare and make the most of the lesson. Highly recommend having a lesson with Garam:)

Garam is a very sensitive teacher who spends a lot of time practicing and helps you hone your speaking and listening skills in a safe environment. I highly recommend Garam if you want to improve your Korean faster and be more confident.
