Ciao!😊I'm an Italian native speaker living in Liverpool (UK). My main goal is to enable you to reach your full potential, while enjoying the process along the way. I’m very passionate about teaching Italian/English and I specialise in lesson for adults.
After graduating in Foreign Languages and Cultures, I moved to the UK and had different jobs. I worked as a customer service advisor, waitress, translator and public service interpreter. I now work as an Italian/English teacher and as a background artist for films!
♥ I love creative writing, painting, theatre, psychology, travelling, and fantasy books.
🎯 I aim to create a relaxed environment where the student can feel as comfortable as possible. You're welcome to ask me questions or ask me to reformulate. I take constructive feedback from the students on board and I do believe teaching is a two-way process. I am happy to adapt and customise our lessons based on your level and interests. Also, I can give tips on resources and I'll correct mistakes.
🎓 Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Translation studies (Languages: English and French), a postgraduate certification in Interpreting and a CEDILS certificate (Teaching Italian as a foreign language certification). Regularly attending webinars to keep up to date with current research.

I couldn’t make the lesson as I was stuck in a traffic jam on the motorway but Ilaria exchanged messages and voice messages with me so that I was practicing my Italian conversation (and being gently corrected) for the whole lesson time. In the circumstances it was a very good lesson.
