I have had a few lessons with Liudan now and I couldn't recommend her enough. The lesson started with a spontaneous speaking section, in which we asked and answered questions back and forth. It is a testament to Liudan's teaching ability that at no point did I feel overwhelmed, and I was able to weave my existing knowledge with new vocabulary provided. Then we continued with the HSK textbook. Not only were Liudan's grammar explanations clear, but she was also not afraid to correct my pronunciation, allowing me to really understand the material and feel like I am making progress. Homework was also assigned with a clear direction and focus. 10/10 teacher, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to learn Chinese.

Liudan is a great teacher. As a native mandarin speaker her fluency is obviously impeccable but she also has experience with teaching so she can explain the concepts. She speaks english really well which makes the lessons for us more productive.
She is very flexible and is accommodating our pace and schedule. I can whole heartedly recommend her.
