Hi everyone! My name is Kari and my hobbies include watching movies and learning languages. I also absolutely love to dance and am always interested in learning a new dance style from any culture! As a language enthusiast, I can speak, read, and write Korean at a basic conversational level, understand Italian at a basic level, and am currently trying to improve my skills in Egyptian Arabic. Therefore, I can understand the intricacies of learning a language. I obtained my bachelor’s degrees in Linguistics and Global Studies as well as a 400-hour TESOL certificate. I also have a Master's in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I have 10+ years of experience teaching and tutoring languages, as well as experience teaching within unique contexts like Business English courses, Technical/STEM English, and even taught English to professional athletes! I consider myself to be a kind and patient teacher that can accommodate to any student’s learning preference. Learning a new language is hard enough as it is, so I will try to make it as smooth as possible for you!
