Hej!
I am am born and raised in Luxembourg with international parents. I have always spoken Swedish at home and in school and university. Coming from a trilingual country and speaking 3 languages at home has shaped my passion for languages.
When I was a teenager, I fell in love with the Bulgarian language and got tutored by the Bulgarian teacher in my school during the lunch breaks. I also studied Arabic and Japanese on Preply between the ages of 14-16. Later, I lived abroad and got to learn even more languages.
I currently study Economics in the University of Lund, located southern Sweden, and I have also taken language classes in Icelandic, Danish, German and French.Me as a Teacher
I'm not a professional teacher or linguist (though my mother is — so it’s in my DNA, haha!).
That said, I have good knowledge of the Swedish language and some hands-on experience tutoring students. I'm confident in my ability to explain things clearly and adapt to different learning styles.My lessons & teaching style
I aim to make my classes both fun and flexible. I often build lessons around a specific topic and include interactive activities or games to keep things engaging. I always adapt the sessions to suit each student’s needs, goals, and interests — whether you're preparing for a move to Sweden, working on pronunciation, or just want to have more natural conversations.
Thanks to my experience of learning a variety of languages from different language families, I have a strong understanding of how language learning works. Combined with my extroverted and social personality and experience of teaching students, I believe this makes me a great tutor!Education
