Many students study long-term with me, which you can see by comparing the total lessons taught to total students (averaging over 10 classes per student.) Learning languages (Portuguese, Spanish and German) has opened up so many wonderful opportunities for me, and my hope is that it will do the same for my students. I was certified in TESL by the University of Minnesota in 2011, and I've taught adult learners in the US, Brazil, Spain, Germany, and the Czech Republic. When I'm not teaching, I love to be outside! I enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and dancing. My #1 goal is for you to speak as much as possible during our time together! Whether you are outgoing or shy, I can guarantee you that we won't run out of things to talk about - besides being a grammar nerd and pronunciation expert, I have the "superpower" of being able to keep up a conversation with absolutely anyone! I provide immediate correction to students. Private classes are the best way for students to identify their recurring mistakes and to get personalized help on the areas that they find difficult or confusing. Sometimes, a gentle reminder is enough, and other times, we will work more thoroughly on a specific pronunciation or grammar point. I like to keep classes light-hearted and fun! Foi a minha primeira aula no ITalki e adorei a minha aula com a Nicole que foi super paciente e gentil comigo que tenho um inglês super básico e estou me desafiando a usar a plataforma para tentar realmente aprender a falar/me comunicar e não focar apenas em cursos tradicionais que focam muito em gramática (embora tbm seja importante) e pouco em conversação!
