Ciao, I'm Marco, your Italian teacher and language tutor! With a Master's degree in Italian language and CEDILS certification, I'm here to help you reach your language goals. My passion lies in teaching Italian with a focus on culture, literature, travel, art history and food. With over a decade of experience, I've fine-tuned my teaching approach, crafting a personalized method that identifies each student's Italian language weaknesses. Together, we establish a tailored program, ensuring consistency and accountability in your learning journey.
Every lesson is meticulously designed to meet yr specific needs, incorporating targeted exercises and content. I'm providing a wealth of engaging exercises to keep you motivated: I leverage a diverse set of resources, including textbooks, videos, original texts authored by me, online content, and games. Having taught in private schools both internationally and within the Italian public school system, I've honed my skillsMy lessons & teaching style
Flexibility, consistency, enthusiasm, accountability are the main ingredients of my lessons. Student engagement is important: I'm good to teach but I don't work miracles. We can use audio material, texts, pdf, books+ a lot of structured conversation. I work with students of all levels and I prepare for CELI and others exams. Sometimes we work on writing or discussing articles. According to the need of the student we work on: conversation, pronunciation, grammar rules, sentence construction, idiomatic sentences, writing. Today's lesson was highly productive and excellently explained. I gained a solid understanding of reflexive verbs and the passato prossimo tense. We engaged in a reading exercise featuring a 2 way dialogue, followed by a thorough breakdown of the grammar rules. Homework was assigned, along with recommended supplementary materials to further progress in language learning. Marco’s teaching style is versatile and adept at catering to individual learning styles. I highly recommend him to anyone starting from scratch in language learning.
