I've just recently moved back after working in Malaysia for five years. I have four years experience teaching English. I love meeting new people. I'm an intermediate French speaker and I also speak a bit of Malay, so I understand what it's like to be a language student too! My other interests are playing with my cat, hiking, reading books, playing video games, traveling, and watching TV shows. ** I only teach adults. ** As someone who loves stories and learning about others, I enjoy doing conversational practice with my students. Reading and keeping up-to-date with what's going on in the world is my passion, so I can provide you with an endless amount of unique topics in all areas. I'm an easy-going and patient person with an open mind. I'm also familiar with various speaking exam formats, including IELTS. I speak with a North American accent (West Coast), and can adapt my language to whatever level you are at. I can provide you with material including news articles, story excerpts, audio files, and lesson worksheets. I will also provide and correct homework if requested. I'm a firm believer in student-focused learning. In the beginning we will discuss your goals and learning style, then go from there. You can decide at what pace you'd like to go and how much correction you'd want from me.

What I experienced with Kasey is that I find the her as a very chill and fun teacher to be with. She discussed a lot of points and while we are having a conversation she immediately pointed out my weaknesses and plans on how to address on sections that I struggled.
