Hi, I'm Hazuki from Osaka, Japan. My native language is Japanese, and I also speak English and Spanish. I majored in Foreign Languages and I've studied in Spain. Currently, I am working at a Japanese language school in Kyoto. I am an easygoing and fun person. My hobby is traveling, playing the saxophone, and snowboarding. My favorite part of traveling is meeting new people and sharing different cultures.Me as a Teacher
I have been teaching Japanese on Italki since 2020. Since I loved this job, I quit my corporate job and completed a 420-hour teaching certification course.
As I believe learning should be enjoyable and relaxed, I try to create a fun learning environment.

My lessons will be mostly conversational based as I believe speaking is a fundamental part of any language. I correct mistakes, help improve accents, teach new vocabulary, based on your level of Japanese and interests. I believe that making mistakes is an important part of learning. Since I studied languages myself, I understand how challenging learning a language can be. So I like to provide a fun, relaxed and informal environment.

Hazuki-sensei is an encouraging and friendly conversation partner. Her curiosity about numerous topics, whether personal history or culture or media, makes it easy to find things to talk about. She gently corrects grammatical errors and fills in vocabulary when I struggle for the right word. It's a pleasure to practice my Japanese skills with her!

Had a great session with Hazuki. We talked about traveling, kansai ben vs tokyo, video games, among other things. Her English is very good, so I can say a word in English and she can provide a translation promptly. I highly recommend studying with Hazuki.
