Experienced IELTS, Business English, and General English teacher from Canada. My name is Ian, and I am originally from Canada. My lessons are student-centered. This means that my lessons are focused on the needs ofeach student. We will make a plan that helps you. Most of the lesson will be spent speaking, building vocabulary and improving your grammar. I create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable and confident. I have lived and travelled to countries all over the world. I have also had the chance to speak to many interesting people from different cultures and backgrounds. When I am not teaching and travelling, I enjoy reading and watching films. Also, I try to stay in shape by playing sports and exercising. ***NOTE*** I do NOT teach children. I am very friendly and approachable. I have been teaching for over 13 years, so I have seen most problems that students face in the classroom. Anything from difficulty remembering vocabulary, issues with grammar to dealing with motivation issues. My lessons are student-centered.
